Grade 1 / 2 quality, ex crossing timbers, which are usually either Jarrah in Untreated Hardwood form or Pine when in Treated Softwood form.

Mini Sleepers are of a good overall quality, with a degree of surface/end shakes and minimal decay, with good square, straight edges.

Popular for private garden projects where a good quality sleeper is required, but where cost and manageability are important.

These railway sleepers are excellent for raised beds, steps and decorative features, especially where space is at a premium, and due to their size can easily be transported in small numbers in small vans/estate cars, thus enhancing their appeal.

N.B: ALL RECLAIMED SOFTWOOD SLEEPERS ARE TREATED WITH CREOSOTE AND THEREFORE MUST BE HANDLED WITH SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND BE UTILISED IN LINE WITH THE EU CREOSOTE LEGISLATION 2001/90/EC (see details).
