We are pleased to introduce a new grade of sleeper to the market.

Sitting between Grade 2 and Grade 3 Sleepers, Industrial Grade Softwoods will provide a lower
cost alternative to the Grade 2’s; whilst being of a higher quality than the Grade 3’s.

Having been lifted from an area of the rail network where a specific type of rail fastening was
introduced (and later discontinued), these have sizeable holes through their entire depth (see
photos), where the ‘fang type’ through-bolts were in place and have now been removed.

This does not affect the structural integrity of the sleepers; as such they are a cost effective,
solid, decent quality product which will suit many industrial applications, ranging from storage
bays & material supports to portakabin bases & roadway demarcation.

Industrial Softwood Sleepers may even be an option in other situations where a more weathered,
rustic appearance is desired.
