Free from treatment and usually manufactured from Tropical Redwood such as Jarrah/Karri etc… Excellent quality, sound & straight railway sleepers with good square edges, clean surfaces & free from major defects. May have minor surface shakes & end splits.

Suitable for all applications as per grade 1 Softwood Sleepers and can also be incorporated where the use of creosoted timber is prohibited for example in school and playground areas.

These may also be used in areas which may come into contact with a water source such as river bank retention and fishing platforms.
